Our Story
We are a 501(c)(3) research organization investigating how AI ethics can move beyond principles and become something measurable, auditable, and ultimately verifiable.
Origin
Most AI organizations are building models. Very few are asking who will verify that those systems behave ethically, transparently, and responsibly once deployed.
VOX Felix Laboratory Corporation was created to explore that question — and to build the institutional infrastructure to answer it. We are a research laboratory and fellowship community, not a vendor or advocacy organization. Our findings are independent. Our research is public. Our mission is accountability.

Distinction
We are a nonprofit research organization with no commercial product to sell and no vendor relationship to protect. Our conclusions follow the evidence.
We believe ethics must be operationalizable — not just aspirational. We build frameworks that can be audited, tested, and verified in the real world.
Our research is published for public benefit. We work on problems that affect everyone — including the communities that federal policy has forgotten.
We run AI literacy workshops at public libraries. We interview small-town mayors. We believe the most important questions about AI are being asked at the wrong altitude.
History
"We are building a laboratory and fellowship community that helps students, alumni, practitioners, and researchers collaborate on real-world AI governance, resilience, and public-interest technology challenges."
